Offering boxes

One of the First Things i noticed that when i got here was the offering boxes. they are at literally at the foot of every door of every building in all of Bali. it usually consists of flowers,  insence , cucuber, raw rice, ash, and anything else imaginable. Also, it varys between what outside its door. for example fashion cloth shops have surouning it and resteraunts have cooked rice. they are supposed to be offerings to the gods and most people have shrines surronding it, some pepole have shrines that are sooo big that it takes up half of their backyard!
